Nominations for new members begin in March with elections starting in April. Any staff member who has been employed at the College for one year or more as of July 1 may be nominated to serve a two year term on the Council.
What We Do
The Staff Council contributes to the mission of Saint Mary's College, to the growth and welfare of its staff employees, and to the promotion of a positive and supportive work environment. Comprised of fifteen (15) elected staff members, the Staff Council plays a significant role in making recommendations to College leadership on matters which have a significant bearing on the working environment of the staff.
