torched Great Britain's Olympic basketball team with a blistering second half performance, and a tournament-best 39-point downpour, to stun the United Kingdom's squad with a 106-75 victory.
Great Britain held a comfortable 10-point lead at the end of the first period. However, Mills came storming back and lit up the Brits for 15 points in the third quarter and led Australia's national team to a dominating win.
The impressive victory means Mills, who plays in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs, and current Gael Matthew Dellavedova, who chipped in three critical three-pointers to help break team UK's spirit, will advance to play in a quarterfinal game at the London Olympic Games.
