When you arrive on campus, you will receive a Post Office box number and key ($1.00 fee). This will be your mailing address while you live on campus:

Telephone Services

You will receive your campus phone number on move-in day. Campus phone service includes free on-campus, local, and domestic long distance calls. We will also provide you with a phone and free voicemail. Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile provide the best cell coverage to campus.

Micro Fridge 101 Solutions

You may rent a microwave and small refrigerator combination from Micro Fridge 101 Solutions, Inc. Explore the options available to you at www.micro101.com. To place an order, contact them directly at 1-800-348-0132. You may also bring your own refrigerator and microwave, but keep in mind that it can only be a maximum of 3 cubic feet and/or a maximum of 1,000 watts. After your first-year at Saint Mary’s, a refrigerator will be provided for you.

Cable TV provided by Comcast Cable

Comcast Basic service, as shown on the Channel Guide, is provided to residents at no extra charge. Simply connect a cable ready TV or VCR to the cable jack in your room. If you desire Digital and/or Pay-per-View channels, then you must first establish an individual account with Comcast, sign up for the desired premium services and rent a digital set top box (for a nominal fee). The set top box must be picked up at the Comcast Cable walk-in offices in Concord and San Ramon.

WASH Laundry Services

WASH has its own proprietary card system which works basically like a debit card for hassle-free and cashless laundry payment.

Through a personal computer, phone or PDA, students can monitor status of their common area laundry rooms, access real-time information about washer and dryer availability, and receive phone or e-mail alerts when their laundry is done or machines become available.

Remote laundry monitoring is just one of the many ways that WASH applies the latest technology to make doing laundry easier and more efficient. A demo is available through www.laundryalert.com (password: demo).
