  Blackfeet Immersion

  In Blackfeet, the phrase “OKI-NI-SOO-KA-WA” means “come to see”.  The OKI-NI-SOO-KA-WA program is an intense immersion experience in which students have the opportunity to journey to the Blackfeet Native American Nation/Reservation in Browning, Montana in order to see, experience, and live for 5 days in a setting unlike any other.  The OKI-NI-SOO-KA-WA experience allows students the opportunity to move beyond known borders and to live and serve in another culture.

  Women's Vocation Retreat 2012

  These photos show students from St. Mary's College and other Lasallian schools from the San Francisco, New Orleans and Santa Fe Districts at "Called and Chosen: A Vocation Retreat for Young Women."  The retreat, which took place from January 14-16, 2012, was held at the beautiful Camp St. Joseph on the Russian River in Northern California.   Students at the retreat engaged in prayer, large and small group sharing and heard the testimonies of women and men committed to the life choices of marriage, motherhood, teaching, and religious life.  The purpose of the retreat was to raise participant awareness of their own vocation or calling from God.
