class of 2009 senior gift campaign
On Saturday, May 23rd, we will graduate and move out into the real world, taking our rich experiences, our treasured friendships, and our remarkable knowledge with us. Our journey as a Saint Mary’s College alumnus will begin and so will our responsibility to give back and help the next generation of Gaels.
T he Class of 2009 stands out from the rest! We want to be remembered for our many achievements, as well as for being a class that came together to make a difference.
How can our class begin the tradition of supporting our fellow Gaels? We can start by participating in the Class of 2009 Senior Gift Campaign. By making a contribution today, we can help provide scholarship support to deserving students who would not otherwise be able to afford a College education. The Senior Gift Campaign is about “Seniors Supporting Students.”
NEED AN EXTRA INCENTIVE TO GIVE? All seniors who make a gift will be entered into a drawing for 1ST CHOICE of Graduation plot site!

AREAS TO SUPPORT:
- Annual Scholarships - 74% of students rely on financial aid. A gift to Annual Scholarships will benefit all students who receive SMC scholarship assistance.
- Lamont Madden Book Fund - Help us provide additional books for SMC students to borrow for an entire semester! The more money we raise, the more books we have available to our students! This Spring, 74 students were able to benefit from this important program!
- January Term Travel Scholarships - Make a Jan Term travel course possible to those who otherwise could not afford to go abroad. This year, we were able to award 19 scholarships with the help from our alumni and student donors.

Class of 2006 Campaign ----19 senior gifts and $315.06
GOAL FOR THIS YEAR = 90 donors (15% class participation!)
