• State-of-the-art 8,000 square foot fitness center

• Three full-sized courts for recreational and indoor intramural sports, including basketball, soccer and volleyball
• Two multi-purpose rooms for group fitness activities and classes, such as yoga, dance and spinning
• Climbing wall
• Large patio and lawn areas with space for outdoor events
• On-site juice and snack bar
• Administrative offices for sports and recreation staff, as well as intramural and club sports

An Aquatics Center

• Recreational pool will accommodate lap swimming, swim lessons and swim clubs, as well as a variety of water sports
• Large patio and lawn areas provide shared spaces for relaxation, socializing and study
• Outdoor dining patio offers ample space for barbecues, events and celebrations
• Whirlpool spa

A Baseball Stadium

• Seating for 1,500 fans, including wheelchair accessibility
• SMC Baseball Wall of Fame
• Enhanced concessions and restroom facilities
• Locker rooms for baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s tennis
• Covered batting cages
• Multi-purpose room that serves as a shared resource for the
  softball, tennis and baseball teams

Recreation Corridor Tile Campaign

Saint Mary’s College is pleased to present a special opportunity to leave a lasting impression at the College and the new Recreational Corridor.  Show your Gael pride by cementing your name in SMC history with a personalized Tile. The engraved tiles will be set in the main entrance of the New Athletics and Recreational Corridor.

There are three  brick sizes to choose from, ranging from $500 to $2500 and they make a great gift for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and other special occasions. Bricks are also a great way to recognize families, alumni, or your favorite Gaels memory. Order Form (pdf)

Locker Room Campaigns

Leaving a lasting legacy for the elite student-athletes attending Saint Mary’s College where you have the ability to impart something special to the next generation. 

Your name and information will appear on a laser etched-zinc locker plaque permanently located on the front of a locker. Standing 9” tall and 5” wide, each plaque is personalized with the information from your days competing for the Gaels.  Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to inscribe a personal message to the student-athlete who uses that locker every day. By making a one-time gift or pledge, you can help keep the legacy alive for future generations. Become a member of a select group who is making a difference in the future of Saint Mary’s Athletics.
