Tour History

Throughout the years, the Spring Rugby Tour has become a renowned and honored tradition at Saint Mary's. Over the years the team has traveled to the Bahamas ('77), New Zealand ('80), Italy ('85, '99), Ireland ('89, '98, '12), Australia ('92), Portugal ('93), France ('95), Thailand, China and Hong Kong ('96), Bermuda ('97) and more.

In the current rugby era, the USA playoff schedule determines if the Spring Tour is possible for the Gaels.  With Tim O'Brien at the helm, the Gaels have continued the tradition with Spring tours to Ireland in '02 and '05, and Argentina in '08.

Ireland & Wales Tour Raffle Winners
