The Bay Area's own distinctive Celtic trio returns after a hiatus of several years to bring their lighthearted tales and impeccable musicianship to Saint Mary's College. Combining stunning vocals, haunting instrumental pieces, and toe-tapping jigs, Golden Bough creates unique renditions of traditional Celtic songs of not only Ireland and Scotland, but also Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia, and the Isle of Man. Join us on March 16 to welcome back Margie Butler (Celtic harp, recorder, pennywhistle, bodhran, spoons), Paul Espinoza (guitar, mandolin, mandola, accordion, harmonica), and Kathy Sierra (violin, viola).
