Saint Mary's Graduate Business Alumni joined together on Saturday, June 25th to help rebuild a home in Contra Costa County. The event was organized by Habitat for Humanity East Bay, which strives to create successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes, by building sustainable housing and revitalizing neighborhood. This amazing organization has now served over 280 families in Alameda and Contra Costa County.
Jeff, the Construction Crew Leader and AmeriCorps member was "grateful to have such a hard-working and open-minded group of volunteers from Saint Mary's." The day of service in Bay Point also brought back together a former study group, CORDCo., formed by participants from the second cohort of Saint Mary's Trans-Global Executive MBA program. Dale Halterman, T-GEMBA â€˜10, "valued the opportunity to serve [his] community as well as spend time with his former classmates." The School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary's appreciates the time and effort their Alumni commit to acts of service.
