The dE-volution of Wellness

This four-day series of presentations explores how our wellness habits have 'over-evolved' into into making us sick and how 'dE-Volving' will help reverse this trend.  Topics to be discussed include:

  • Myths about nutrition and fat loss
  • How advancements in technology are adding dangerous toxins to our food, environment, and personal care products
  • How to restore optimal hormonal balance through lifestyle modification
  • Differences in Western versus Eastern stress management techniques
  • How the fitness industry has strayed away from real-world functional movements

  • Nathan Brammeier (Monday, June 10th)

    Presentation Title: "Hormonal Balance for Optimal Health." The key to optimal health is the balancing of your hormones. Unfortunately, in today's day and age, this is easier said than done. Conventional wisdom has led us astray. Nathan will discuss the most important lifestyle modifications you need to make in order to balance your hormones.

  • Dr. Vedantin Ping Luo (Monday, June 10th)

    Presentation Title: The Art of Living Dr. Vendantin Ping Luo is the Founder and Director of School Yoga Institute, Ed. D, E-RYT, Herbalist, Reiki/Shamanic Mythic, certified Vinyasa Ashtanga yoga teacher by BNS Iyengar and Sivananda certified yoga teacher. (Bring your Yoga Mat)

  • Evelyne Lambrecht (Tuesday, June 11th)

    Presentation Title: "Killing Us Slowly: The toxins in our food, environment, and products." What you don't know about toxins in our food supply, in the environment, and in personal care products may be wreaking havoc on your health. What are the most common toxins, can you avoid them, what effects can they cause on the body, what can you do about it?

  • CJ Martin (Wednesday, June 12th)

    Presentation Title: TBA CJ Martin is a Level 2 CrossFit instructor and former member of the CrossFit HQ training team. C.J. began coaching because he passionately believes in the life-changing benefits of functional fitness.His goal as a fitness coach is to inspire individuals to make long-term lifestyle changes, and he has found that CrossFit’s scalable intensity and commitment to functional movement makes it the perfect program for individuals of all ages and abilities.

  • Sean Croxton (Thursday, June 13th)

    Presentation Title: "The Dark Side of Fat Loss: Everything My University Forgot to Teach Me About Health and Wellness." I'll be covering the missing links in our modern fat loss dogma. Topics will include the role of hormones, digestion, detoxification, immunity, and mindset in health and long-term fat loss.
