Federal Pell Grant

You may receive up to $5,550 in annual Pell Grant funding for the duration of your teaching credential program.

Cal Grant

If you received Cal Grant funding as an undergraduate you can usually extend your grant for an additional 2 terms, up to $9,708 annually. Contact the Financial Aid Office to request CSAC form G-44.

Federal Teach Grant

You may receive up to $4,000 annually. The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program was established under the college Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, to benefit current and perspective students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.
