“GREEN RHEEM” FILM SERIES OPENS JANUARY 15 AT HISTORIC THEATER
Stanford Legend Paul Ehrlich to Introduce Award-Winning Film: “Mother: Caring for 7 Billion”
Moraga, Calif. – Moraga-based non-profit Generation Green, in cooperation with Institute for Population Studies and HowMany.org, host the award-winning film “Mother: Caring for 7 Billion” January 15 at Moraga's historic Rheem Theater. Biologist Paul Ehrlich, author of The Population Bomb, who appears in the film along with other noted experts, will introduce the event, addressing the audience via video from his Stanford office.The January 15th screening will begin with a pre-show reception in the lobby at 6:00 p.m., featuring sample tastings of wine provided by Edmunds St. John Wines of Berkeley. Kombucha will be provided by Revive Drinks, Indian bites by the New Delhi Bistro, and a variety of edibles by Berkeley Andronico’s. Tickets are available in advance for a donation of $12 from www.greenrheem.org. Donation at the door is $15, or $8 for students with ID.
