Our Clinicians provide medical services in an urgent care model to all full time undergraduate students for minor illnesses and injuries. For serious or chronic illnesses, students are assessed by our Clinicians then referred or “bridged” to hospitals and Physicians in the community or to their primary Physician at home.
No fee is charged for clinical services. However, there may be charges for prescription medications, supplies, immunizations, and travel documents. Services off campus such as laboratory testing, x-rays, consulting specialists and hospitalizations are not covered by the College. In these cases, your health insurance would be used.
The following are some of the most common urgent care situations we encounter at the Health & Wellness Center:
- Respiratory conditions,
- Gastrointestinal symptoms,
- Urinary tract infections,
- Sexually transmited infections,
- Stress related symptoms,
- Eating disorders and body image concerns,
- Musculoskeletal injuries,
- Sleep conditions
We are not able to list all of the services our office provides. Please contact the Health & Wellness Center for more information regarding our services.
