"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."   -Margaret Mead

The Peer Advocacy Towards Campus Health program focuses on peer to peer learning, which allows Saint Mary's College students to interact with their peers by promoting FUN, interactive, and meaningful preventative awareness campaigns and programming.

Peer education allows for Saint Mary's College students to take a leadership role in activism toward health and wellness topics that are presented to students through programming and outreach activities.

The PATCh program works with issues such as  alcohol and other drugs, reproductive health, STD’S HIV/AIDS, smoking prevention, stress management,  and nutrition.  PATCH is comprised of Peer Health Leaders who are often found on campus addressing important student issues such as alcohol abuse, sexual assault, HIV/AIDS, impaired driving and tobacco prevention.

PATCH Leaders are here to provide support and leadership to Saint Mary's College students on topics relevant to student health and wellness.  As stated above the program serves to educate students on a variety of issues and to help start important conversations, and generate excitement about getting involved in personal health, safety, and overall well-being.
