Beep! is a musical collective comprised of pianist Michael Coleman, bassist Nate Brenner and drummer Sam Ospovat. Their music is based on the concepts of group interplay, free improvisation, original composition and orchestration in a piano trio setting. Though rooted in the jazz piano tradition of Bill Evans and Paul Bley, Beep! is influenced by a wide range of styles. From modern pop rock to Romantic-era composers to American folk music, Beep! borrows and reinvents with humor, energy and a focus on spontaneity.
