Event Description 

What: A talk by former Saint Mary's College professor Chester Aaron, who was one of the liberators of the Dachau concentration camp in 1945. The Jewish-American war veteran is also a prolific author and, now, a garlic farmer.

In conjunction with Holocaust Remembrance Day, a thought-provoking, and challenging exhibit is also on view through mid-May in the Saint Mary's College Library. The first and second floors are filled with posters from the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, a chronological photographic exhibit interspersed with poetry and reflections, maps, books, and other material.
