In her article "The Messiness of Love, Family and Identity: Q&A With Lysley Tenorio," Huffpo writer Larissa Archer queries Tenorio about his family life, individuals and books who influenced his writing style, and while, the article doesn't include a reference to SMC, it does quote Tenorio on how teaching young writers keeps him on his literary  toes.
