A cohort of students in Saint Mary’s Trans-Global Executive MBA (T-GEMBA) program recently traveled to India to help empower non-profit agencies in the world’s second most populous contry.
The trip garnered news coverage from a variety of media outlets, including “The Times of Navi Mumbai," “The Times of India” and India West, a San Leandro-based news outlet targeting South Asians on the nation's West Coast.
While in India, T-GEMBA's director Shyam Kamath and a contingent of nearly two dozen students in the College's graduate business program traveled to Goa, Mumbai and Panvel.
The unique graduate business program teaches students to apply business solutions to the social service needs of individuals at the bottom of the economic pyramid across the globe.
