Are you interested in an internationally oriented career path?

Our graduates are well-prepared to work for an ever-growing number of international agencies, non-governmental organizations and businesses, which increasingly list language proficiency and overseas experience among their job requirements. The ability to function in different cultures and bridge national differences is in greater and greater demand. Our graduates also go on to graduate school in international business or international studies. Most major universities have graduate area studies programs that offer a natural next step for further developing your expertise.

Each fall the World Affairs Council in San Francisco holds a career and internship fair. This event provides an excellent opportunity to speak with professionals whose careers have the international focus IAS majors are seeking. The IAS Program sponsors students who desire to participate in the fair by reimbursing their registration fees.
