Internships provide an opportunity to integrate your academic learning with practical, on-the-job experience and make you much more "employable" when you graduate.  Many internships result in a full-time job offer!  Many employers now expect that candidates for career positions will have completed at least one internship before graduating.

Students from all years are invited to attend this orientation to learn the whys, whens, wheres and hows of internships, and to hear from SMC alumni who have translated internships into successful careers.
