    Tools we commonly work with: 

  • Moodle

    Moodle is the learning management used at Saint Mary's College. Use this system to upload your course materials and create interactive features that engage students with course materials outside of class.

  • iPad and Apple TV

    iPad apps and Apple TV allow faculty to facilitate discussion and give students the opportunity to interact with course content in tangible ways.

  • Wikis, Blogs and ePortfolios

    Wiki's and blogs serve to document student research facilitate collaboration and gain iprofessional skills. ePortfolios may be used to capture student work over time or showcase a students' best work.

  • Web Conferencing

    Web conferencing systems such as SKYPE, Web Ex, and/or Oovoo may be used to record faculty lectures and/or connect learners with subject matter experts across the globe.

  • Student response systems

    Student response systems such as iClicker and "Poll Everywhere" help to provide instant feedback, encourage lively discussions and promote peer-learning.

  • Interactive White Boards

    Interactive white boards such as the Polyvision, Promethean board and Smart boards help to engage students in course material and reach a variety of learning styles.
