From Connie Frances to Snooki on Jersey Shore and from The Sopranos to The Godfather, Italian Americans have endured unchanging cultural stereotypes in popular media. SMC professors and guest speakers will sit on a panel to discuss their research and personal experiences regarding Italian American stereotypes.
