KCBS News spoke with SEBA global marketing professor Tomas Gomez-Arias about the ongoing problem of underage workers in dangerous factories in Southeast Asia, in particular in the garment industry in Cambodia. An associate dean in SMC's School of Economics and Business Administration, Gomez-Arias teaches courses in international business in the SEBA's graduate business program. He has offered commentaries in the media about the dangers facing workers in the international garment industry and the responsibility domestic companies have when foreign subcontractors they use put workers at risk.
