Saint Mary's College has a strategic partnership with the Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest angel investor network. As such, we have the opportunity to allow a limited number of students and alumni to sit in up to two times on the private Keiretsu meetings, where you can watch 4-5 startup companies make their pitch to potential investors!! You can learn from the presentations, and the questions from investors. An incredibly unique opportunity to observe and network! And this month, the Center for the Regional Economy is bringing the Forum to our campus!
You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming Keiretsu Forum angel investor meeting on Thursday, May 29 from 7:30am to 12:00pm at the Soda Activity Center, Saint Mary's College Of California, 1928 St. Mary's Rd., Moraga.
This is a great opportunity to see how angel investors evaluate startup companies for potential investment. At the Forum, 5 companies will present for funding. Each company will have 10-minutes to present followed by 10-minutes of Q&A. After the 5 presentations, Keiretsu Forum members will have discussion on the positive aspects and critiques on each opportunity.
Keiretsu Forum was founded in 2000 by Randy Williams, a Saint Mary’s alumnus, and has 29 chapters on 3 continents. With over 1,100 accredited investor members Keiretsu Forum is the world's largest angel investment network. Keiretsu Forum members are angel investors who provide early stage capital in the range of $250K - $1.5m to diverse opportunities in technology, consumer products, life sciences, real estate, and funds. The members collaborate in the due-diligence, but make their own individual investment decisions. For more information on Keiretsu Forum, visit www.keiretsuforum.com.
