Event Description: 

November 15th is a nationally recognized quit day for smokers all over America!  

Join PATCH, along with our co-sponsors from the Campus Committee for Inclusive Excellence, the Residence Hall Association, the Catholic Institute for Lasallian Social Action and the Associated Students of Saint Mary's College, as we provide resources to support those who are choosing to quit their smoking habits.  Or come find out how you can support your friends who are trying to quit. 

The Week is filled with activities to help promote dialogue about the Smoke Free Campus Policy Initiative that was started in the Fall of 2011.  The effort continues with the goal of becoming 100% smoke free by the end of the 2012-13 academic year!  

**FREE QUIT KITS & Information about Smoking Cessation Services will be provided at ALL EVENTS!

Meet us in front of Dante Hall (look for the Health & Wellness Table)

Kick Off & Litter Pick Up

Join us as we do a litter pick up to measure the environmental impact of smoking on campus. 

November 15th- 6pm-8pm

Great American Smoke Out .. Movie screening of Thank You For Smoking.  

Join us to learn more about how tobacco use is a social justice issue as we partner with RHA & CILSA to educate the community about the cause.  

November 28th- 12:30pm-2pm

Town Hall Meeting

The topic of discussion for this town hall meeting will focus on the current efforts and possible implementation of a 100% smoke free policy.  Join PATCH, the Health & Wellness Center, ASSMC and experts from the California Youth Advocacy Network as we discuss next steps and what 100% smoke free could mean for Saint Mary's College.
