The Lasallian Leadership Institute is meeting at Saint Mary's College between July 16 and July 21 in a program designed to train participants to exercise effective Lasallian leadership in the institutions and ministries of the De La Salle Christian Brothers.
A team of faculty and staff members from Saint Mary's College is meeting with Lasallian leaders from the San Francisco and New Orleans-Santa Fe Districts during this week's meetings of the Institute. The theme under discussion by the more than 63 participants is the Lasallian Education Mission, with presentations by Brothers Gerard Rummery, FSC, and John Johnston, FSC.
The Lasallian Leadership Institute was created in 1997 to provide a formation program to foster Lasallian Association for Mission among the lay men and women affiliated with Christian Brothers' institutions. Since its inception, nearly 500 individuals have participated in the program.
