A Whole New Way ~ Leadership and Engagement for the 21st Century
February 12, 2013: 12 - 1 pm
Online Registration (required)
A workshop filled with new thinking and interaction about where we are as a global society in terms of our thinking about leadership and what is needed to bring about the changes you care most about. We will engage with questions such as:
- what does engagement mean for you and your organization?
- how do you communicate your vision and values?
- how do you listen to people's stories in a way that relate to their values?
- what's the best way to design strategies that get people to make commitments?
- how do I follow-up on activities in a way that inspires them to continue and expand their involvement?
The workshop will be lead by two faculty from the MA in Leadership program at Saint Mary’s College. Doug Paxton, educator and values coach, and Maura Wolf, leadership coach and non-profit consultant. Both bring a depth and breath of background to this topic. Look forward to a reflective and engaging dialogue that is sure to have you thinking in new ways about your own leadership and the development of those around you.
