Life Transitions ~ Stepping into the Future with Values and Vision

November 15, 2012:  6:30 - 8:30 pm

Soda Center, Saint Mary's College Campus

Online Registration (recommended)

Whether we are aware of it or not, we are always in the process of transition – things are ending, other things are beginning and somewhere in the middle we have to be present to it all.  Join us for a lively evening in which we explore the nature of transitions and the way in which values and vision can place a role as we make them.  We will present theory and research, share stories, and create room for your own contemplation.  This free event will be facilitated by Maura Wolf and Doug Paxton.  For further information you may email us at leadership@stmarys-ca.edu.

Maura Wolf

For the past 20 years Maura has supported people to make better decisions through coaching and leadership training.  Author of the book, Exploring Realities: Stories of Young Women Making Decisions and Finding Meaning, she has listened extensively to people as they have talked about the significant decisions they have made, and the things they have learned from those decisions.  Currently a teacher in the Leadership Studies Department at Saint Mary’s College, she has helped to develop leadership programs for dozens of higher education and non-profit organizations.  A presenter of hundreds of workshops and author of dozens of articles, her focus has been on what she calls, Everyday Leadership: making the choices that reflect our deepest values.  She is a yoga instructor, a graduate of the MA in Leadership at Saint Mary’s College and a mother of two.  In addition to teaching, she is a coach with in-balance coaching (www.in-balancecoaching.com).
