Saint Mary's College LEAP Program graduate Muriel Maffre '04 was the subject of a front-page feature in the San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Datebook on Jan. 21.

Maffre, who has danced with the San Francisco Ballet for 17 years, is hanging up her toe shoes in May as a principal dancer for the company, according to the article. Maffre earned her bachelor's degree in performing arts in the Liberal Education for Arts Professionals (LEAP) Program at Saint Mary's, and is now considering pursuing advanced academic study in visual arts curating.
