May 6: Webinar - What “Develops” in Leadership Development? with Ken Otter, Director of Leadership Studies Programs at Saint Mary's College. 7 to 8pm.

More and more people recognize that effective leadership enhances one’s work and life. But what is effective leadership and how can it be developed? How does one know if one particular leadership program is the right one for you, for others, or for the organization? The answer depends a lot on the leadership perspective employed. If it is a more individualistic and authority based perspective, what gets developed will be different than if the perspectives is more collective and influence based. In this presentation, Ken identified four perspectives of leadership, how they corresponded to what kind of setting, and then what needed to be developed in each.
