The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) is an acquisition, research, and reference service that offers more than 1.8 million records with catalog data and children's subject headings, plus more than 315,000 critical reviews of children's books, ranging from the earliest baby board books to novels and nonfiction for young adults. An average of more than 1500 new reviews are added to the database monthly. Information about awards, honors, prizes given to specific books is also provided along with information about reading measurement program information as well as best book lists and state reading lists. The reviews, from 37 review sources, are all full-text searchable.
