Lisa Cattrone received her BA in philosophy, single subject English teaching credential and MFA in poetry all from from Saint Mary's College. She taught at a high school for kids with emotional, behavioral and/or learning disabilities for 6 years. Her work has appeared in Chicago Review, The Awl, Lemon Hound, The Volta, The Claudius App, Gulf Coast, Volt, The Denver Quarterly, Interim, Fourteen Hills, West Wind Review, American Letters and Commentary, First Intensity andScythe and also has work forthcoming in EOAGH. She has a chapbook out from Horse Less Press entitled Mutations for Jenny. Her first full length book is due out in Fall of 2015 from Trembling Pillow Press which will be called Last Year's Schizo. She has 2 children.
