Interests

  I am interested in art, social justice and community leadership. My research has primarily been in the areas of community leadership, shared leadership and leadership in communities of color. I firmly believe that it takes a village - the businesses, schools, nonprofits, informal leaders, etc. - for communities to survive and thrive. I am most interested in the intersections and the possibilities when diverse perspectives and ways of being in the world are brought together by a common idea of thriving community.
