SMC Forensics

The Macken Collegiate Forensics program supports SMC's competitive debate and speech team.  The program is named in honor of its founder and benefactor, John Macken, and support for the program is in collaboration with SMC, Joe Siler (working with Atsuko Kawahara to establish the Kurt W. Simon Trust), and others.

We welcome students with competitive experience from all academic disciplines to apply for team membership in order to develop ethical and socially responsible public communication based on in-depth public policy analysis.
