John Macken '62

(1959-1962). Mr. Macken is an SMC physics alum, a scientific inventor, the team’s benefactor, and a current member of SMC’s Board of Trustees. He debated for SMC with Joe Siler.

Joe Siler  '62

(1959-1962). Mr. Siler is an SMC alum, a team donor, and a former member of SMC’s Board of Regents. He debated for SMC with John Macken, and facilited the establishment of the Kurt W. Simon endowment for program scholarships.

David Azcarraga '12

(2008-2009). Dave took a sabbatical from SMC for family reasons and graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012. He volunteered his time to the team when he could.

Ashley Cook '11

(2010-2011). Ashley graduated from SMC in 2011 with a degree in Communication.

Shannon Daley '14

(2010-2011). Shannon is a current SMC student

Ana Diaz '11

(2007-2011). Ana was 2010-2011 team captain, was awarded the Thomas Jefferson award from the Politics Department, and graduated from SMC in 2011 with a degree in Political Science. She currently works for a major retailer, volunteers her time as an assistant coach when she can, and has gifted the program.

Shana Dhillon '09

(2006-2008). Shana graduated from SMC in 2009 with a Communication degree and currently works in education.

George Emmons '12

(2008-2010). George graduated from SMC in 2012, was a Resident Advisor, an SMC Ambassador and WoW Leader, and an Integral major.

Kaitlin Kellogg '14

(2010-2011). Kaitlin currently attends SMC as a Communication major.

(2011-2012). Caitlin currently attends SMC as a Communication major.

Logan Newell '08

(2007-2009). Logan graduated from SMC in 2008 with degrees in economics and business administration. He currently holds a corporate position with a major retailer, volunteered his time as an assistant coach for SMC’s team after graduating, and has gifted the program.

Alina Nguyen '15

(2011-2012). Alina currently attends SMC as an Environmental Science major.

(2008-2010). Chelsea graduated from SMC as an Environmental Science major in 2012.

 
Elizabeth Patterson '10

(2006-2010). Elizabeth was the 2009-2010 team captain, was awarded an NPDA All American award in 2010, and graduated in 2010 with both politics and business administration degrees. She currently attends law school and volunteers her time to the team, when she can.

Maggie Powers '14

(2010-2012). Maggie currently attends SMC as a Women's Studies and Anthropology major, and will be a Resident Advisor in 2012-2013.

Erika Reames '14

(2010-2012). Erika will attend UC San Diego in fall 2012.
