Attend a mock reception and learn how to confidently maneuver in a cocktail event, shake hands, properly introduce yourself to others and gracefully eat hors d'oeuvres. A full sit down dinner is provided and facilitator, Gina Snyder, will point out the details of what to do and what not to do. Business casual attire required.
- Moving through a formal dinner confidently
- Entering and leaving conversations
- Avoiding potential awkward situations
Facilitator Gina Snyder:
Snyder has been conducting Business Etiquette trainings for more than 12 years. She has been a Career Counselor a Saint Mary's for 15 years. Because students will be interviewed at dinner events and are observed at receptions and informal situations where food is served, Gina emphasizes the importance of etiquette training as part of their professional interviewing preparation.
