Media Services, located in the Library (St. Albert Hall) provides a place for faculty, staff and students to:

• place requests for classroom media and check out equipment.

It is also the place to go to ask for help and consultation in using instructional media of all sorts.

Classroom Audiovisual Equipment Support:   To see a listing of what technology is available in each of our campus classrooms as well as a list of computer software, please visit our interactive classrooom technology map and click on the building that your classroom is in.

The Center's audio/video and multimedia support to faculty includes:

• Tech Checks: which are one–on–one tutorials of your classrooms media equipment.
• hands–on–training operating Av equipment for loan (camcorders, digital recorders etc...)
• access to equipment, software and facilities

Equipment & Software 

• Mini–DV camcorder, tripod
• Digital video editing suite with analog to digital converter
• CDROM and DVD burners
• VCR, DVD players for preview of videos

Media Conversion

While IT Services is not in a position to assist in the conversion of one media format to another (for example: from VHS to DVD, or from Mini DV cassette to DVD) there are many other sources where this type of work can be done.
