Event Description 

Please join us for an MFA Open House Happy Hour with wine, cheese, and music!  Have questions about the application process or the MFA program in general?  Professors Marilyn Abildskov (creative nonfiction), Brenda Hillman (poetry), and Lysley Tenorio (fiction) will speak about their genres and answer your questions.

MFA graduates Robert Andrew Perez (2011), Risa Nye (2011), Mick Sherer (2012), and Minodora Tribea (2011) will also speak about life as an MFA student and their paths after graduation. 

If we receive your online application within (3) business days of the open house, we will waive the normal $50 application fee.  More information on how to take advantage of this offer at the event.

Please print out a campus map for your reference.  The parking lot located directly behind De La Salle Hall will be reserved for MFA Open House participants.  Please note that there is a men's basketball game happening on campus this evening.  If you encounter any parking attendants please let them know where you're headed and why.
