Mission and Ministry Student Leaders foster the Catholic and Lasallian mission of Saint Mary’s College, rooted in the five Lasallian Core Principles.
Our student leaders work with the professional staff to give bring life and full expression to the core principles through programs, presence and campus participation. Student voice, participation and leadership are necessary and integral aspects of the Mission and Ministry Center’s outreach to the Saint Mary’s College community. Student Leaders in the Mission and Ministry Center work with the MMC team on programs and experiences that give spirit and voice to our Catholic and Lasallian mission. Student participation and leadership is a necessary and integral aspect of the continuing development of the Mission and Ministry Center at Saint Mary’s!
Our student leaders work in a number of different roles within the Mission and Ministry Center. The Lasallian Peer Ministers work with the MMC team on the many programs and experiences that Mission and Ministry offer. The Community Leaders work with the MMC team to facilitate the Lasallian and the Santiago Living and Learning Communities. The Sacristan assists the MMC team with all things related to liturgical celebrations and prayer experiences.

My name is Sofia Burille and I am a sophomore. I am a mathematics major who wants to be a professor. My hometown is Sacramento but I was born in Brazil. I am also a tutor at the math center. I like to play volleyball in my free time. Feel free to talk to me in Portuguese anytime.

My name is Philip Goodwin, and I was born and raised in Modesto, CA. I am currently a sophomore majoring in English in hopes of becoming a high school English teacher. Hey, my name is Suzanne Denson and I am currently a sophomore. Some of my nicknames include: Smiley, Suze, Suzie, and Sue. I am a Business Administration major with an emphasis in Finance and a Sociology minor. I am from Irvine, CA. I love to participate in CILSA and XALT on campus. My name is Mitchell Woodrow, I am from Kailua, Hawai'i, and I am a sophomore Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing.
