What: The creative impulses of choreographers Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton collide in an afternoon of dance works. This concert will consist of new work and recent hits co-choreographed by two of the Bay Area's most popular and respected dance makers. Who: Following the sold out success of their most recent work, The Illustrated Book of Invisible Stories, Garrett and Moulton will premiere a series of freshly minted solos, duets, and group works that continue their shared exploration of non-verbal storytelling. Their vibrant ensemble of five dancers serves as a cast of characters who bring the stage to life in a progression of dramatic episodes that arise and dissolve-each illuminating and investigating awkward, delicate and bittersweet aspects of the human experience.
