January 27, 2009Tomlinson on Way to Breaking Her Own NCAA Blocks Record
Women's basketball player Louella Tomlinson, a 6-foot-4 sophomore who is part of a prominent Australian sports family, is on pace to break her own NCAA single-season blocks record from last year.Tomlinson's 7-foot wingspan and hand-eye coordination make her a defensive force.
"She can track the ball and where it's going, get to that point and get a hand, or even a finger on it," head coach Paul Thomas said. "She obviously understands it because she's been doing it so long."
