March 18, 2009Gaels Defeat Washington State, To Face Davidson in NIT Second Round
The men's
basketball team defeated Washington State 68-57 in a National Invitational Tournament
game at McKeon Pavilion on March 17. Patrick Mills led the team with 27 points, and
Diamon Simpson added 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Saint Mary's hosts the Davidson Wildcats and NCAA leading scorer Stephen Curry in an NIT second-round game at McKeon Pavilion on March 23 at 8:30 p.m.
