Michael Beseda, Saint Mary's vice president for communication and vice provost for enrollment, sat down for an extended interview about the importance of the Cal Grant program and the governor's proposal to eliminate grants for incoming freshmen. The College is encouraging Californians to contact their state assemblymember and senator to urge them to preserve this important program for students.
