The candidates forum for the 10th Congressional District at Saint Mary's College is garnering more attention from local press as tonight's event draws closer.The differences between the front-runners in the 10th Congressional District race, Democrat Lt. Gov. John Garamendi and Republican David Harmer, are profiled by KGO-TV. The local ABC-TV news report highlights the SMC forum as the only opportunity for voters in the East Bay district to see the two major candidates together during the general election campaign.
The upcoming special election also received attention from KPIX-TV. The local CBS-TV news report looks at voter reaction to Garamendi's decision to run for the open seat, even though he doesn't live in the district.
