| Cindy Pandini lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she is executive director of BC Social Venture Partners, a group of business leaders dedicated to supporting the community through donations of time and money. Her children are Adam, 27, and Lindsey, 24. She often thinks of the remarkable people she met at SMC and the outstanding education she received. |
| Jim Whittaker was elected vice president of the board of trustees of the Arlington, Va., Community Foundation. He is expanding the foundation’s role in supporting efforts to serve the homeless and hungry, improve physical and mental health and support the arts and education. |

Roy Van Order EE retired from Lockheed Martin in Syracuse, N.Y. in 2006. He had spent 40-plus years in the aerospace industry working on both coasts as a manager and consultant to industry and the government. Roy and his wife of 50 years now spend their summers on their pontoon boat cruising the Erie Canal and rivers and lakes in New York. They also do volunteer work with the COPD Foundation. |
Michael J. Whelan is a former Emmy award-winning producer, writer and director with HBO and the Golf Channel. He now works for Starwood Vacation Ownership in Orlando, Fla., where he lives with his girlfriend, Rebecca, and their two dogs and cats. |

| Teri (Dahl) Barbaria lives in Penn Valley (Nevada County), where she raises Arabian horses and is the managing broker for Gateway and Wildwood West Real Estates. Teri completed the Tevis Cup 100-mile/24-hour race, and her horses have shown at the regional and national level. She has a daughter who is a senior at UC Santa Barbara, another who lives with her on her ranch and a son who just started college. |
| Jeff Dennis, his wife, Kimberly and their two sons vacationed in Europe. Jeff has sold real estate in Benicia since he graduated and was president of the Solano Association of Realtors in 2000 and 2007. He recently published a mystery novel, To the Letter. |

| Randy Burke lives in Gualala (Mendocino County) with his partner, Jane Head, an artist from Great Britain. He has two children, Ryan, who is working on the Christ the Light Cathedral in Oakland, and Kyla, who is working in Southern California for the Landmark Forum. Randy is the director of works at the Sea Ranch in Sonoma County. He enjoys hiking, fishing, reading and contemplating the wonders of the world. |

| Herman Brown has been a math teacher in the Oakland Unified School District for 32 years. Last year, he was awarded Math Teacher of the Year. |
| Kevin O’Connor and his wife, Yvette, have lived in Alaska for 15 years. He just published his first book, The Project of Reflections. This year, he will be the assistant director on two plays for Valley Performing Arts, where he is general manager. He will direct his first play in summer 2009. Yvette has won dog races and plans to write a book on her lead dog. |
