Blasts From the Past
Do you still have a freshman beanie from the old days, or an old Saint Mary’s tie? The Alumni Office is seeking memorabilia to put on per- manent display in two cases
in the new Welcome Center in Brother Jerome West Hall.
The first floor of the hall has been under renovation to transform it into a one-stop center for visitors to the campus, with the Admissions Office, Financial Aid and the Alumni Office all under one roof. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2009.
Items for display could be from particular class years or programs, or memorabilia like old football helmets and letter sweaters. One item that has already been donated is a painted 1944 Saint Mary’s belt buckle complete with the Galloping Gael.
