 Annie Chase is in UC Davis' mechanical and aeronautical engineering doctoral program studying the aerodynamics of a baseball's flight (see story on Annie in the fall 07 issue of Saint Mary's). She recently went skydiving and called it the closest feeling to being thrown like a baseball. She won a graduate student fellowship from the National Science Foundation after months of all-nighters and eating thousands of noodle cups at her desk. |
| Hannah (Goin) Gibson moved back to Sacramento after graduation and last August became the membership coordinator at the Crocker Art Museum. She married her longtime boyfriend, Jeff, on Feb. 23, 2008; the couple was expecting a daughter in June. Hannah and Jeff bought a home in Sacramento, and Hannah hopes to enter the marketing and communications field. |

 Tyler Selden was fishing on a 17-degree December morning at Pyramid Lake in Nevada when a monster Lahontan cutthroat trout slammed his fly line. Tyler battled for 15 minutes before landing the 12-pounds, 4-ounce fish. |
| Melissa Stetson married Jarred Uppendahl, a CSU, Chico graduate, in October 2007 in Chico. The couple, who honeymooned in Hawaii, live in Chico. Melissa works as a business law paralegal at Carter Wendell Law Offices, LLP and does volunteer work in the community. |
| Pinthip Suvanasarn now works for The PMI Group, Inc. in Walnut Creek after two years at a mortgage company as a marketing specialist and loan processor. PMI specializes in private mortgage insurance, and Pinthip is a claim representative in the loss mitigation and claims department. She plans to return to Saint Mary's in 2009 to get her master's degree in business marketing. |

| Joe Lanza shot 20-under-par to win a Desert Winter Series golf tour event at the Wigwam Resort in February. Joe's win included a course-record one-day round of 60 strokes with 10 birdies and an eagle. |

 Jennifer Jimenez MA '08 graduated from SMC's School of Education with a master's in marriage and family therapy and school counseling. She was joined by friends Jacquelyn Bickar, Sarah Schuetz, Leti Montana and Katie Lennon. The five met on their first day at SMC seven years ago and remain inseparable. Jennifer is a school counselor at Hercules Middle High School. Sarah received a master's in occupational therapy from Samuel Merritt College. Jacquelyn received her paralegal certificate and works for Cisco Systems Inc. in San Jose. Leti is a clinical coordinator for Sunesis Pharmaceuticals in South San Francisco. Katie is a tax accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and is working to obtain her CPA license. |
 Wendy (Lam) Tong MBA married, received a raise and promotion, bought a new home, earned a project management certification and had a baby girl. Within the last year, she joined the Safeway corporate IT organization, specializing in projects and project management. Wendy enjoys the professional benefits that come with having an MBA, and keeps in touch with the great friends and networks that she built at SMC. She looks forward to time off to visit a resort in the Bahamas.

 Lakenya McClough is a master's of public health candidate at Touro University in Vallejo and vice president of community outreach for the College of Health Sciences Student Government Association. She started Elevations Youth Empowerment Group, a nonprofit that focuses on youth education and development, and volunteers with community-based health groups. She embraces and lives the Lasallian motto of "Enter to Learn and Leave to Serve." She was recently invited to be an executive fellow for the state of California, granted through California State University to 18 individuals. |

| Michael L. Dudinyak is retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard in September. He has put his degree to use in customer service, being comfortable in a support role but taking the lead when needed.  Jeannine (Fitzpatrick) and Ryan Keenan are blessed to announce the arrival of their first child, Penelope Anne Keenan, born on Feb. 12, 2008 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Two weeks later, the happy family bought their first home in Saint Charles, Ill. Ryan graduated from Loyola University Chicago's School of Law in May, and Jeannine is staying home to care for the family. |

Darren English '07 proposed to Jennifer Mamola on May 24 before family and friends during her post-commencement plot party on the steps by the De La Salle statue. They are thrilled to be planning such a joyous event and hope to marry sometime next August or September at the Chapel.
