| Laurie (Henderson) Stephenson has been married since 1986 to Frank, a scientist and the author of several books. Their daughter, Myla, 16, is a sophomore in high school and possibly a future Gael. Laurie was an estate planning paralegal for many years in San Francisco and now operates her own business producing court accountings for fiduciaries. |

| Debbie (DeBolt) Vadnais lives in San Diego after marrying her high school sweetheart, Paul, in September. Her son Justin, 24, is a U.S. Marine assigned to guard the U.S. Embassy at The Hague in the Netherlands. |

Sylvia (Marquis) Harper, a longtime San Francisco Police commander, and Dorothy (Benjamin) Jones ’89, SMC’s dean of admissions, were honored by the Black Alumni Chapter on March 1 for significant achievements in their fields. The awards were presented as Black History Month ended and Women’s History Month began. During the event, Harper — who rose through the ranks of the SFPD — attributed much of her success to her educational foundation at the College. Jones, who has overseen a dramatic increase in minority enrollment at SMC, said she recalled that there were only nine African-American women living on campus during her junior year. |

| Rick Lemos and two partners formed Pacific Core Investments, LLC, in San Carlos, which assists people on making real estate investments inside an IRA or 401k plan in place of traditional investments. |

| Antonio “Prandy” Yulo is managing director of Hella in the Philippines, a German multinational company supplying the automotive industry with lighting and electronic components. He is married to Helen Marie and they have two children: Alberto Carlo and Marie. Prandy is active in the local church fellowship as elder and ministry volunteer. |

| John Blackstock was recognized by St. Dorothy Parish in Glendora on the 20th anniversary of the school’s Education Endowment Fund, which he established. The fund topped $1 million this year. |
Dennis Scholl enjoyed the SMC vs. Texas event in January. He retired from the Air Force in 2004 as a lieutenant colonel after a career in military psychology, including 13 years in Alaska and 13 years in Texas. Dennis was elected to the Somerset City Council and enjoys his acres, horses, cattle and the warm weather and welcome of south Texas — Y’awl come visit San Antonio. |
| Anthony Shelton is a professor of entomology at Cornell University and received the prestigious 2007 award for applied research in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Tony has been a faculty member at Cornell since 1979 and is an international professor for CALS. |

| Casey Murphy had an exciting end of the professional football season in Glendale, Ariz. His first grandchild, Emma Lyman, was born in Milwaukee during the Packers playoff game. Two weekends later, Casey served as a member of the security team at Super Bowl XLII, held in Glendale. |
Peter Peabody has taught for 32 years at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward. He has been married to Peggy for 25 years, and has three children and two grandchildren. He has held many positions at Moreau, and is now a math teacher (Go Euclid!) and senior class moderator. |
