1969
| Michael and Catherine (Murphy) Gagliasso '80 recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Their two grandchildren, Patrick, 4, and Molly, 1, are the joy of their lives. |
1968
Ed Blake joined the Navy Reserve after graduation, and in 1969, he married Lenore Uribe, his high school sweetheart. He was stationed in the Pacific Rim and worked with the electronics division. He was discharged in 1972 and became a manufacturer's rep. In 1984, Ed took over the rep firm known as William Parks Associates, and in 1992, he renamed it Edward Blake Associates, Inc. Ed and Lenore have two daughters and two grandchildren. Ed's interests are computers, website creation and management, and community involvement. Ed has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years and has achieved the level of the 4th degree. He holds the position of faithful comptroller as well as color corps commander. |
Bill Sonneman retired as the principal of Encinal High School in Alameda after 37 years in public education. He was named a "local hero" by Alameda magazine, and named president of the Alameda Education Foundation in July 2008. He has been married to Lois (Holy Names '68) for 39 years. They have three daughters and three grandsons. |

| Cliff Nakea and his wife, Gloria, have been married for 42 years. They have two daughters (a lawyer and a teacher) and a granddaughter. They moved to Kauai from Oahu in 1973 and have lived there ever since. After 25 years on the bench, Cliff retired at the end of 2004 as a circuit court judge and finally took up golf. Gloria is committed to promoting qigong as a wellness alternative. They enjoy their family and friends and traveling. |

| Porfirio M. Aguiar Jr. retired after 35 years with Bank of America as a computer analyst. He is married with five children, 10 (yes, 10) grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He keeps active in volunteer work at their school, and he enjoys sports and his computer. |

| Robert Schaecher retired from International Education in 2005. He and his wife then started a women's apparel business importing hand-embroidered tunics and tops from India (www.amayatextiles.com). They are blessed with a wonderful son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. They spend winters in North Carolina and summers on Nantucket. |
| Joe Sciarra, a retired dentist, spent eight great years with the Christian Brothers, four at his beloved Cathedral High School in Los Angeles and four at the College. As a racehorse fancier, he wants to honor the Brothers by naming a thoroughbred using a Lasallian reference. So don't be surprised if you'll soon see Mont La Salle running at Santa Anita or your local California track. |
