The Owens family lives in Austin, Tex. where Mark is an engineer with Applied Materials, Inc. and Catherine stays at home to raise their children. |

Renee and her husband, Yosi, live on Guam with their three teenage daughters, Ortal, 16, Lirone, 14, and Shiran, 14. |

| Connie (DeSimone) Hasley and her husband, Phillip, have been making wine at home for 10 years, but are now chasing his dream of being a professional winemaker. | Scott Kahl is in his 13th year with National Semiconductor in Arlington, Tex. He is the human resources director responsible for National’s Texas manufacturing facility. He has been married to Stefanie Kahl for 14 years and they have two children, Krista, 13, and Justin, 7. Scott is an appointed member of the Tarrant County Workforce Board, executive vice president of Arlington ISD Education Foundation and an advisory board member for the University of Texas’ Human Resources Master’s Program. Scott has coached youth soccer for eight years and is working on obtaining his national ‘D’ license. |
| Char (Reber) Rocha and her husband, Rob ’89, celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3, 2007. They live in Aptos (Santa Cruz County) with their six children: daughters Jordan, 18, McKenna, 14, Madison, 12, Camryn, 8, and Quinn, 6, and son, Ryan, 16. Char has worked as the office manager and billing specialist for her sister Chris Reber ’90 for the past eight years at Reber Physical Therapy in Aptos. In April 2007, Char’s 1982–83 high school basketball team (a Northern California finalist) was inducted into the Aptos High Hall of Fame. In July, she and Rob accompanied their son to Las Vegas for the Main Event Showcase Basketball Tournament. Daughter Jordan began her freshman year at Fresno State, where she is studying to become a physical therapist. |
| Greg and Gina Smith are living in Florence, Italy from September 2007 through July 2008 with daughters Bailey, 11, and Sydney, 8. Bailey and Sydney will attend Catholic schools within walking distance from their apartment. Also in walking distance are the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Basilica of Santa Croce. Greg and Gina had a blast at the SMC reunion and at the Schmitt estate in Tahoe visiting fellow Gaels. | Ana Robles Yamauchi has retired from Combe, Inc. after 16 years in sales. She will stay home to take care of her sons Coby, 11, Sam, 9, and Frida, her Goldendoodle puppy. Ana and her husband, Ken, are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary in November. Ana enjoyed returning to SMC in April with her volleyball teammates and their families as they were recognized by the SMC Hall Of Fame Committee for their national championship title. |
